Artist Bio:

During my childhood, I dreamed of a horse carrying me away. Toward the mountains – cool, quiet, and filled with unimaginable beauty. A place to live as I was meant to be.

An escape from responsibilities that I was unprepared to bear.

I find comfort and peace being with the horses; being near the mountains; and creating photographs.

I find it hard to express myself verbally – so I do it through my images and writing; an unveiling of the energy and self-expression kept hidden, that I wish to share with you.

You may share my vision, a depth and intimate detail that others might miss. Sensitive of the emotions and energies that surround us. We learn to trust our intuition.

I photograph fine art images, horse shows and equestrian events throughout Colorado and the West.

“Thank you, Melinda, for being so authentic and compassionate in living your life!
I admire the passion you have for horses and how that
inspires you to photograph them so beautifully and now, you are
completing the medicine circle of healing with the children and horses.
That is awesome!
